COURSE DESCRIPTION

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- recognize electrocardiogram findings of common arrhythmias;
- apply new guidelines on a spectrum of cardiovascular diseases;
- discuss new and current pharmacologic therapy in cardiovascular medicine;
- apply current guidelines for the management of heart failure;
- discuss coronary syndromes utilizing aspects of patient presentation and diagnostic testing;
- identify appropriate patients for structural interventions; and,
- decribe when to refer for advanced valve therapies.
